Quattro DB 360 and Globe Installation Guide

Scope

This public guide provides the common installation pathway. The current model manual, approved project design, equipment labels, applicable codes and qualified installer requirements control the work.

Preparation and installation

  1. Confirm selected model, coverage layout, cable length, power supply, water depth, access, anchoring point and environmental conditions.
  2. Globe is used where horizontal and downward coverage is required. Do not substitute one orientation without an approved layout.
  3. The transducer assembly is supported from its approved float. The independent rope or chain connects from the clasp beneath the assembly to a concrete block or suitable anchor—not from the yellow float.
  4. Route the electrical cable to shore power or the approved solar system with strain relief, protection from traffic and compliance with local electrical requirements.

Commissioning

  1. Place and orient the unit at the approved map location.
  2. Lower the anchor separately and remove slack without pulling the unit below its intended position.
  3. Confirm cable protection, clear acoustic path and separation from high turbulence.
  4. Energize the controller and record location, water level, date and baseline photographs.
