Pump Selection for Nano-Bubble Systems
Select the pump from the required nozzle flow and pressure at the real operating point—not from the connection size or the pump’s maximum-flow label.Interactive preliminary calculator
Build the Required Pump Duty Point
Enter the complete system information to estimate flow, total dynamic head and hydraulic power. This is a design starting point—not a pump-model recommendation.

Flow and Pressure Must Arrive at the Nozzle Together
A typical starting reference is approximately 30 psi minimum operating pressure, with many applications reviewed in the 40–60 psi range and 40–50 psi often preferred. The selected nozzle’s approved data and the project design always control. The pump curve must show that the pump can deliver the required flow after static lift, pipe friction, valves, fittings, filters, manifolds and nozzle pressure are all included.HEAD / PRESSUREREQUIRED

VFD control
A variable-frequency drive can trim and control a suitable pump; it cannot correct a fundamentally undersized pump or piping system.Measure after installation
Confirm actual flow, nozzle pressure, gas delivery, motor load and the treatment response during commissioning.Submersible pumps
- Operate below the water surface where the motor is continuously cooled
- Often preferred for ponds, lagoons, reservoirs and high ambient temperatures
- Require suitable cable, intake protection, lifting and service access
- Use compatible materials; seawater may require SS316 or another approved material
Surface-mounted pumps
- Can serve one or several properly balanced nozzles
- Must be installed in a temperature-controlled environment
- Require correct suction design, priming and protection against loss of prime
- May simplify access where the complete hydraulic design is suitable
Directional manifolds require pump review
Every additional branch, elbow, valve, reducer and outlet changes flow and head loss. Do not assume equal distribution without calculating and commissioning the complete manifold.
