Belize Boiler Scale Field Example
The challenge
The boiler system had substantial internal mineral accumulation. Scale on heat-transfer surfaces can restrict flow, insulate heated surfaces and make inspection and cleaning more difficult. Puroxi installed an external descaler on the boiler piping and documented later internal conditions.
The field observation
During later inspection, accumulated deposits were observed separating from internal surfaces. The removed material appeared brittle and broke away in flakes and larger pieces. These photographs support a visible scale-loosening observation; they do not, by themselves, quantify energy savings, heat-transfer improvement or total scale removal.
Responsible website wording
- State that deposits were visibly loosened and removed during inspection.
- Do not state a percentage reduction unless the site has measured deposit mass or thickness.
- Do not claim energy savings, restored flow or heat-transfer improvement without before-and-after operating records.
- Explain that loosened material must be removed through appropriate blowdown, flushing, filtration or mechanical cleaning.
- Retain boiler-water chemistry, treatment, inspection and manufacturer requirements.

Classification: Puroxi field example supported by genuine installation and inspection photographs. The evidence is visual and operational, not a controlled performance study.
Important notice
The descaler does not replace proper boiler-water chemistry, blowdown, safety inspection, cleaning or equipment-manufacturer requirements. Results depend on water chemistry, temperature, flow, pipe condition, existing deposits and installation.
